Samsung Galaxy S21 Event: How to watch Unpacked 2021 Live Today

Samsung hosts a couple of hardware events each year, which typically showcase the latest line of products in February. The devices will be launched later in the spring. This year Unpacked arrives today and of course we are very happy about the upcoming S21 livestream. Samsung is expected to introduce the new Samsung Galaxy S21 range as well as the Galaxy Buds Pro and the new SmartTags so you never have to worry about losing your wallet or keys again.

Would you like to check out the event yourself? Here is everything you need to know to watch the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 Livestream.

Here’s how to watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 live

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 takes place today, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT. There are a few ways you can adjust. By far the easiest way to follow the event is to go to the Samsung website and stream it live. The live stream can also be viewed on YouTube.

What to Expect from Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021

The highly anticipated start at Unpacked is the new Samsung Galaxy S21. We are expecting three different models: the S21 with its 6.2-inch screen, the S21 + with its 6.7-inch screen, and the 6.8-inch S21 Ultra. What do we know so far? Samsung hasn’t made any official announcements yet, of course, but we’ve already seen renders that appear to show the design of the phones to come.

Rumor has it that the S21 will have a brand new design with improved camera functions and a 10x optical zoom. There’s also word that the S21 Ultra could be the successor to the Galaxy Note range, as leaks have revealed a case for the phone with a holder for the S Pen. However, unlike the Note series, the S21 Ultra is unlikely to come with the S Pen. Hence, you will likely have to buy it separately.

The full lineup will likely also include a 120Hz display and use the latest Snapdragon processor available in the US, the Snapdragon 888 – or the Exynos 2100 in other parts of the world – promised by Samsung, which offers longer battery life and a Offers faster 5G performance.

We’re expecting other hardware too, including the introduction of Samsung Galaxy SmartTags, sleek bluetooth trackers that you can plug into your keys, remote, or wallet – or anything you routinely lose – to keep track of things. The rumored price of $ 18 to $ 20 should make this an attractive accessory for anyone who already owns a Samsung phone.

Last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will likely also be canceled at this week’s Unpacked event. Thanks to improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with adjustable ambient mode, they also have a new speech recognition feature that puts them in ambient mode while lowering the volume so you can hear what’s going on around you. They look like a slightly smaller version of the Galaxy Buds +, but their wireless charging case is almost identical to the one that comes with the Buds Live.

The Buds Pro should be available in Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, and Mystic Violet to compliment the new colors in the S21 range – and it is possible they could be included for free when you purchase a new S21 device.
