Galaxy Buds Pro Noise-Canceling Earbuds Lead Samsung’s Line

After months of leaks and tons of hype, Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy S21 series, with improved performance, a completely new design, and more. In addition to the phones, however, Samsung has also launched other new devices – like the Bluetooth tracking SmartTags and the new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds.

You can assume that the new earbuds are just an updated version of the Galaxy Buds Live that Samsung launched along with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Instead, they offer a fresh, true wireless design, as well as an array of high-end features that should appeal to any Galaxy user who wants a pair of wearable earbuds.

The headphones come in a small and very portable charging case and have an ergonomic design that provides a comfortable fit. The buds are also IPX7 waterproof in case you sweat or get caught in the rain.

As you’d expect, the headphones also offer a number of smart features to both improve audio quality and ensure that the headphones integrate better with your other devices. In particular, the Buds Pro offers noise cancellation, which Samsung says can cut background noise by up to 99% – and you can set the ANC to your preferred level. They also offer an ambient sound mode that can amplify outside noise for things like a conversation. And the headphones can intelligently switch between these modes by recognizing when you are speaking.

You can rest assured that Samsung will quickly cycle through its true wireless earbuds.

The headphones also integrate with the rest of your Galaxy technology, although many of these functions have been taken directly from Apple. For example, you can automatically switch between your Galaxy phones and tablets. If you get a call on your phone while watching a video on your tablet, your video will automatically pause so you can take a call with the buds of your phone.

The headphones also offer 360 audio, which is equipped with Dolby Head Tracking technology. Samsung’s feature dealing with Apple’s Spatial Audio is designed to help you achieve a surround sound experience with stereo headphones. Last but not least, the Galaxy Buds Pro supports Samsung’s new SmartThings Find, which allows you to find every single bud if you lose it, even if it’s no longer connected to Bluetooth.

The Galaxy Buds Pro headphones offer 8 hours of uninterrupted battery life and an additional 20 hours of use with the charging case without ANC. With ANC you only get 5 hours of continuous use, 13 hours more thanks to the charging case – although that’s still not bad.

The headphones are available now for $ 200 at Samsung and will be available at other retailers starting January 15. Samsung also intends to keep the Galaxy Buds Live and even the older Galaxy Buds + in the market for budget conscious customers.
