David Morin is Pumped About Launching Ultrahuman App
Launching a new global health and fitness platform is no easy task, especially during a global lockdown. But David Morin, one of today’s best fitness models, is always up for a challenge. He joins Andre Stone and Adriana Escalante as part of our ongoing coverage of CES 2021.
According to Morin, his new app, called Ultrahuman, “is a convenient way to use the time you’ve spent getting there [your] Fitness goals at home, ”he says. It’s complete, holistic, and offers programs from yoga to weight lifting. “It has everything you need to achieve what you set out to do.”
Exercise is usually an organic and biological experience, rather the opposite of machines and technology. But technology obviously has its place in making people healthier and in helping them become better athletes. Not only can tech provide biometric data, but it also helps with streamlined tracking and goal setting. It’s really about the whole picture, says Morin. It’s about “being the best self you can be”. People are determined to adapt to these challenges. He says, “And I think Ultrahuman does a great job of bringing that power right into your hands so you don’t have excuses.” You can achieve your personal fitness goal every day.
“There are things that we had to adjust every day,” says Morin of the past year. “The reality is that on the front lines you are expressing what you have right now and being grateful for what you have right now. Those challenges are really only opportunities when you pick something up for yourself and say, “Hey, look – I have the ability to take on any challenge that comes my way.”

And the use of technology enables him to keep an eye on what is going on in his body. “Before I train, I use the technology, I use the app, [and] I’m going through a breath sequence that I use on the Ultrahuman app, ”he said. “And when I cool down, I use the app [and] one of the meditation sections to draw the energy that I have used up again and to revitalize and recover. “
Technology is revolutionizing the way we connect to our bodies, notes Morin. Cryotherapy, infrared saunas, and electrical stimulation are just a few of the concepts that the technology is driving. “The future is so wide open right now,” he says. “I try to marry the best of what studies have shown to be physiologically sound in a holistic way, but I also challenge myself to incorporate technologies that work with this time-tested ancient wisdom. It’s a brand new world and I’m excited! “
